Women’s Resource Center offers supervised visitation services in a comfortable, neutral, and child-friendly environment. These visits are designed to support children’s safety and well-being while allowing parents to spend meaningful time together.
Our visitation space includes age-appropriate toys, books, and activities to help children feel at ease during their visit. The goal is to create a setting that is both welcoming and structured, enabling interactions to occur in a calm, respectful way.
How Supervised Visitations Work
Supervised visits at WRC typically last one to two hours. During this time, trained visitation staff are present to observe the interaction, ensure safety, and offer guidance when needed. Staff may step in if concerns arise regarding the child’s emotional or physical well-being.
In addition to supervision, visitation staff may provide gentle parent mentoring and support, helping parents strengthen healthy communication and interaction skills.
Referrals and Intake Process
All supervised visitations at WRC require a referral from another agency. This helps ensure that services are appropriate for the family’s situation and that expectations are clearly communicated.
Before visits are scheduled, families must complete an intake process. This allows our team to understand the needs of everyone involved, review guidelines, and establish a plan that prioritizes safety and consistency.
