C.A.R.E. Program

 We C.A.R.E. About Teens...

Presenting the week-long C.A.R.E. (Character And Relationships Education) Program in classrooms throughout
Findlay and all of Hancock County is a great privilege! We love sharing with students, as we equip, empower, and encourage teens with the truth. It is exciting to share the skills needed to move toward a healthy future.

Creative teaching tools allow for some fun interaction as we talk about relationship building, qualities of a good marriage, goal setting, refusal skills, how all parts of a person interact, differences between guys and girls, planning for the future, media influence, peer pressure, long-term consequences of decisions, wiring of the teenage brain, and many other topics related to sexual choices.

Committed to medical accuracy, we discuss the reality that sex outside of marriage carries the risks of STI’s (sexually transmitted infections), pregnancy, and emotional hurt. We challenge teens to stay safe so that they can reach their maximum potential.

In addition, the C.A.R.E. Program offers presenters for consumer science/life skill groups and at-risk programs, as well as community speakers and resources for students at the University of Findlay.

We appreciate being welcomed into the schools and the opportunities we have to talk with teens. If you would like to contact the C.A.R.E. staff (and we would love to hear from you!), please email us at care@wrchancock.org or call

We really do C.A.R.E.!
