We got a thank you note from “Deborah” not long ago. It was quite surprising when one hundred dollars in cash fell out of the envelope! The really significant thing about this is that Deborah was a client for several years before moving down south with her family. . . When we first met Deborah, she and her husband had four children; in the next years as she came to us for pregnancy tests and diapers, three more were added to her family. Deborah home-schooled her sweet and well-behaved children while her husband did the best he could with limited education to support his large family. Then one day, she told us it would be her last time using the services of Women’s Resource Center. The family was going to try a new job and hope it was a better opportunity. It did turn out to be, and although their budget will always be tight, Deborah remembered the kindness of WRC and wanted to give back to our ministry.

As we invest in the lives of those who come to us, it is so gratifying to find partners along the way who want to use what God has blessed them with to bless others!   

 Women’s Resource Center of Hancock County is a non-profit, faith-based, life-affirming organization dependent on the support of like-minded people like you.
